Harshat Kumar

Harshat Kumar is a Senior Reinforcement Learning Engineer at Quilter and a PhD student in electrical and systems engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on machine learning, optimization, reinforcement learning, and control. Harshat previously served as Senior Professional Staff at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from 2017 to 2023. In addition, Harshat gained experience as an AI/ML intern at Apple in 2021 and has contributed to research as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Rutgers University from 2014 to 2017. With a strong academic background, Harshat holds a Master's degree in Robotics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University.
