Sergey Kazakov has had a varied career since 2006, beginning with a role as Research Assistant at Clark University/National Bureau of Economic Research, where they extracted and prepared U.S. Census data for multiple research projects in environmental and labor economics. In 2009, they became Director of Operations at New England Sports Academy, managing all aspects of operations of multi-sport and academic facility and designing scalable systems of operations, reporting and analytics. Also in 2009, they took on the role of COO/Founder at Step-Up Venture University. In 2012, they became Chief Product/Operations Officer, Co-Founder at VidiLocal (LokalAd Platform). In 2014, they took on two roles: CEO & Founder at Quintegro, and Vice President, Product Strategy at Analytix Business Solutions, where they were responsible for the company's product strategy and conceptual product design, as well as overseeing the agile development and cross-functional teams delivering the product. Sergey also developed and maintained relationships with partners and industry experts to market, sell and deliver solutions to end users, and to gather market feedback for continuous improvement.
Sergey Kazakov obtained their BA in Business Administration and Management, General from South Ural State University (SUSU) between 2001 and 2006. Sergey then continued their studies at Clark University, earning their MA in Economics in 2008 and their PhD in Economics in 2011. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from the Scrum Alliance, a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) in June 2017 and a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) in November 2016.
