Aaron Passey

Aaron Passey has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Aaron is currently working at Qumulo as a Senior Principal Engineer since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Dropbox from April 2017 to April 2021 as a Principal Engineer. Before that, Aaron was the Founder & CTO of Qumulo, Inc. from March 2012 to August 2016, where they played a crucial role in shaping the company's direction, product, and technology. Aaron also served as the CTO of Clustrix, Inc. from November 2008 to February 2012, where they focused on engineering, product management, and sales. Aaron's extensive experience also includes being the Chief Architect at Isilon Systems from June 2001 to October 2008, where they were responsible for the technical direction of the product. Aaron started their career as a Software Developer at Cray Inc. from August 1999 to May 2001, working on the IO subsystem of the MTA supercomputer. Aaron's earlier experience includes working as an Engineer at Gordian from August 1997 to June 1999, where they designed embedded hardware and software with a focus on motion control.

From 1993 to 1997, Aaron Passey attended Caltech where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
