Michael Kirby

Michael Kirby has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Michael started their career as an intern at Digilent Inc., where they created educational material, aided in the development of new microcontroller peripheral modules, and wrote API libraries. Michael then worked as a Software Development Engineer at EMC Isilon before joining Dell EMC as a Senior Software Development Engineer and later as a Principal Software Engineer. At Qumulo, Inc., they served as a Member of Technical Staff before moving on to VAST Data, where they worked as a Principal Software Engineer, focusing on identity management architectural changes and the implementation of SMB on their platform. Currently, they hold the position of Director Of Engineering at Qumulo.

Michael Kirby attended Washington State University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering.
