Dan Young

Dan Young is the CEO at QuoLab Technologies. Prior to this, they were the Director of Cyber Operations at QuoScient from January 2018 to November 2019. Dan has also worked with the United States Department of Defense as the Regional Operations Manager from August 2012 to January 2018, where they led an interdisciplinary team of cyber analysts, developers and linguists in the acquisition and analysis of seized digital media, Threat Hunting, Incident Response and Intelligence Analysis throughout Europe and Africa. Dan has also served as a Digital Forensics Analyst with the United States Air Force from May 2006 to August 2012, conducting forensics analysis on seized media in support of military and law enforcement entities, uncovering incriminating evidence and denying adversaries secure communication vectors.

Dan Young has a Bachelor of Arts in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from American Military University. Dan also has an Associate of Science in Information Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, and an Associate's degree in Arabic Language and Literature from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. Dan is certified by the SANS Technology Institute as a GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) and by the SANS Institute as a GIAC Incident Response and Forensics Certification. Dan is also certified by CompTIA as a CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA A+ certified professional.
