Julia Yan

Julia Y. is an Engineering Manager at Quora since March 2019. Prior to their current role, Julia worked as a Software Engineer at Quora and Facebook where Julia focused on developing features to improve video playback success rates. Julia also has experience as a BioAgriculture Lab Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis, where Julia worked on a project involving Arduino robotics for plant phenotyping. During their time at Tencent, Julia worked on front-end posts for news websites and created shell scripts to increase efficiency in generating CSS and HTML files. Julia holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Maths from the University of California, Davis.
