Tuan Vu

Tuan Vu is a software engineer with extensive experience in data engineering and machine learning. Currently at Quora as a member of the ML Platform team, Tuan focuses on enhancing the scalability and efficiency of the platform, particularly in developing an ML Serving system for large language models to serve billions of users. Previously, Tuan worked at Facebook as a data engineer, where key contributions included leading a capacity allocation project that improved resource utilization and saved significant operational costs. Tuan’s earlier roles included data scientist at Viant Inc., where machine learning algorithms and data pipelines were developed, and cloud developer at Launchpad - Government Cloud Solutions, where Apex classes and automated processes were created. Tuan began a career as a software engineer intern at Fortune and Venture, contributing to website development and database design.
