David Cheng

Strategic Account Manager at Quorum Software

David Cheng has extensive work experience in various industries, including technology and consulting. David started their career at Accenture as a Senior Strategy Consultant. David then moved on to work at Willis Towers Watson as a General Manager, where they were responsible for business development and practice build-up in North China.

After that, Cheng joined IBM as an Associate Partner in their GBS division. David later joined Cisco Systems as the Oil and Gas APAC Lead IBSG, where they developed Cisco's energy team and led solution teams for key oil and gas customers. David also served as the co-chair of the Smart Grid Working Group for the US-China Energy Cooperation Program.

Cheng then worked at Oracle as a Director - Global Client Advisor, where they provided industry expertise and managed solution opportunities for the oil and gas sector. Prior to their current role, they served as the Managing Director at Data Vision Technology LTD. (NZ), where they focused on data science and big data/AI for the renewable energy sector.

Currently, Cheng is working at Quorum Software as a Strategic Account Manager. In this role, they build and maintains relationships with customers, meets sales goals, and collaborates with solutions architects and consultants to present technical presentations. Overall, Cheng has a wealth of experience in sales, customer relationship management, and industry expertise in the technology and energy sectors.

David Cheng completed their Bachelor Degree of Petroleum Engineering from Southwest Petroleum University from 1980 to 1984. David then pursued a Certificate in Marketing from Victoria University of Wellington in 1996. In 1997 and 1998, they attended Massey University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Marketing, Project Management, and Operation Management.
