Debra K B. has extensive experience in payroll and human resources management. Debra K currently holds the position of Senior Director, Global Payroll at Quorum Software since 2022. Previously, they worked as the Associate Director of Payroll at Texas Southern University from 2021 to 2022.

Prior to that, Debra worked at Newpark from 2007 to 2020, where they served as the Sr. Manager, Global Human Resources. In this role, they managed multiple departments within the HR Division, including Payroll, Governance & Compliance, Benefits, Records and Master Data, HRIS, and Data Privacy. Debra K developed the HR Global Data Privacy Program to ensure compliance with regulations and advised senior management on employee relations strategies. Debra also played a key role in centralizing the payroll function and managing global payroll for multiple countries.

Before joining Newpark, Debra worked at SMG | Worldwide Entertainment & Convention Venue Management (currently ASM) as a Payroll Manager from 2004 to 2007. Their responsibilities included managing payroll for over 3,000 employees, implementing HR systems, and providing guidance on employee relations matters.

Debra's career started at ElPaso Corporation (currently Kinder Morgan), where they worked as a Payroll Analyst from 1996 to 2004. Debra K processed global payroll, managed union payroll for trucking and coal mining unions, and implemented HR and payroll systems.

Throughout their career, Debra has been involved in various projects, such as system implementations, time collection upgrades, GDPR compliance, and M&A activities. Debra K has also played a role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.

Debra K B. completed their Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from a University between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they attended the same University from 2012 to 2015, where they studied Accounting. Following their Bachelor's degree, in 2017, Debra pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from the same University. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including the Canadian Payroll Management Certification from The Canadian Payroll Association in 2015, the Global Payroll Management Certification from the American Payroll Association in the same year, and the AED and CPR certification from JB Safety International in 2014.
