Edgar Esparza

Edgar Esparza began their career as an Informix Developer and Oracle DBA at Sorteo Tec in 1999. Edgar then joined Sixbell in 2002 as an Oracle DBA for Telefónica Movistar, where they were responsible for daily administration, performance tuning, and reporting. Edgar also played a key role in benchmarking and supporting the migration of Pegaso Prepaid company. In 2005, Edgar moved on to Softtek, where they served as an Oracle DBA for various clients including Citi, GE Money, and HP Imaging and Printing Group. Edgar then joined Getecsa in 2008 as an Oracle DBA for Telefónica Movistar before transitioning to Hildebrando in 2009. At Hildebrando, Edgar supported and maintained development and production databases for Documentum, and also played a part in migration projects. In 2011, they joined Computer Sciences Corporation as an Oracle DBA for BHP-Billiton, where they worked on the support and maintenance of over 100 databases, as well as the installation and configuration of Oracle databases. Most recently, Edgar joined Quorum Software in 2014 as an Oracle Database Administrator, and later became a Senior Oracle Database Administrator.

Edgar Esparza earned their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they completed from 1994 to 1998.
