Ivan Chan

Ivan Chan has a diverse range of work experience across various industries. Ivan started their career as a Manufacturing Engineer at STATS ChipPAC, where they focused on optimizing processes using lean six sigma methodologies. After that, they worked at Weatherford as a Project/Desk Engineer, where they managed offshore completion projects and served as the client's focal contact for technical and commercial support.

Following their time at Weatherford, Ivan became a Solopreneur at Tactful Digital, a digital agency. In this role, they owned all aspects of the business and provided consultation, UX design, and web development services to regional businesses. Ivan then joined Wonder as a Research Analyst, where they conducted research and wrote essays for top management consulting firms and marketing agencies.

Next, Ivan worked at SMS Group as a Solutions Specialist, where they extracted best practices from decades of performance history to drive future initiatives for a Fortune 500 oil & gas operator. Ivan contributed to streamlining data mining, data cleansing, and quality check workflows.

After that, they joined Involve Asia as a Product Management, Senior Executive. In this role, Ivan led a product squad in delivering valuable initiatives for users and the business, from user research to achieving key metrics. Currently, Ivan works at Quorum Software as a Senior Solutions Consultant. Ivan helps oil and gas operators and governing bodies in their digitalization initiatives, improving essential upstream planning workflows.

Throughout their career, Ivan has demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, project management expertise, and proficiency in data analysis.

Ivan Chan has pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia. Additionally, they have completed their Master's degree (MSc) in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University Malaysia. Furthermore, Ivan has obtained certifications in Software Product Management Specialization from Coursera and Agile Project Management from Coursera | Google in April and March 2021, respectively.
