Mark Baden

Mark Baden has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several years. Mark started their career at QC Data as a Software Quality Assurance Lead from 1997 to 2001. Mark then worked at DO2 Technologies as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst from 2005 to 2009. After that, they joined ADP as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst from 2009 to 2012.

In 2012, Mark transitioned to Cole International, where they served as a Software Quality Assurance Manager and Project Manager. During their time there, they gathered and documented requirements for a web development project and acted as a Scrum Master for daily updates.

Following their tenure at Cole International, Mark joined Vintri Technologies Inc. as a Quality Advocate. In this role, they organized testing efforts, provided leadership and mentoring for the product team, reviewed and critiqued features and requirements, and designed and updated automated tests.

In 2015, Mark joined EnergyIQ LLC. as a Quality Assurance Advocate and SQA Lead. Here, they collaborated with product management, coordinated sprint planning and grooming with the team, and ensured maximum effort for each sprint period. Mark also led the coordination, integration, and onboarding of offshore contractors for the Project 360 initiative.

Currently, Mark is at Quorum Software as the Senior Manager for Engineering. Mark oversees the management of two development teams, including the Integration Platform Team and the EnergyIQ Team. Mark is at the forefront of driving successful cross-department collaborative efforts to build an integrated suite of tools across 26 different solutions.

Mark Baden attended the University of Calgary from 1991 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in Geography.
