Michal Kanda

Michal Kanda, MBA, has diverse work experience in business development and strategic account management within the oil and gas industry. Starting in 2011, Michal held various roles at Petrolink, including Global Business Development Executive and Business Development Manager for the UK, Europe, Africa, and CIS regions. Michal focused on digital oilfield services, WITSML-based software solutions, and drilling optimization for operating and well engineering teams. In 2018, Michal joined Target Well Control Ltd. as a Global Business Development Manager, responsible for driving business growth and managing tenders for directional drilling, M/LWD, fishing, and milling services. Michal also worked closely with the Abu Dhabi commercial and operations teams. Michal then joined Strainstall as a Business Development Manager in 2018, before moving to EMM Corp in 2021 as a Business Development Manager. Michal currently holds the position of Strategic Account Manager at Quorum Software, starting in 2022. Throughout their career, Michal has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive business growth and develop strategic partnerships.

Michal Kanda, MBA has an extensive education history in business management and executive oil and gas management. From 2005 to 2009, they attended Robert Gordon University and obtained a BA (Hons) in Business Management. Following this, from 2013 to 2019, Michal pursued further education at Robert Gordon University and completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Executive Oil and Gas Management. In addition to their formal education, Michal also holds additional certifications from OPITO, including Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training [BOSIET] and Offshore Oil & Gas Minimum Industry Safety Training Program [MIST]. These certifications were earned in August 2013 and further enhance Michal's expertise in the industry.
