Alex Skinner is a seasoned Professional Director with a passion for governance, inclusion, and community engagement. With 29 years of experience in the Chartered Accounting environment, including 20 years at KPMG, Alex has transitioned into various governance roles since leaving the firm in 2016. Currently serving as an Independent Director at Isthmus and holding multiple trustee positions, Alex is also the Chair of the Board of Trustees at The Tait Foundation. Committed to sustainability and stakeholder relationships, Alex has played pivotal roles in capital raising and the establishment of charitable entities in the community housing sector. An avid cyclist, Alex has completed numerous single and multi-day cycling events across New Zealand.
