Bree Hadley

Bree Hadley has an extensive work experience history that spans various academic and artistic roles. Bree currently serves as the Academic Lead for Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity at QUT (Queensland University of Technology). Bree is also a Professor of Drama in the School of Creative Practice and the Study Area Coordinator for Acting & Drama. Previously, Bree held the position of Associate Professor of Drama in the Creative Industries Faculty and served as the Associate Director of the QUT Creative Lab. Bree also served as the Head of Postgraduate Coursework Studies at QUT.

Prior to their time at QUT, Bree worked at Queensland University of Technology as a Senior Lecturer in Drama. Bree also held roles as a Study Area Advisor for Creative Production & Arts Management and as a Lecturer in Drama. Outside of academia, Bree worked as a Theatre Critic for The Australian Newspaper.

Earlier in their career, Bree held various educational roles at Victoria University, Deakin University, Swinburne University of Technology, and Monash University. Bree also worked as an Artistic Advisor, Director, and Dramaturg for Walking into Bars.

Bree's diverse experiences in academia, journalism, and the arts contribute to their knowledge and expertise in drama and creative practice.

Bree Hadley's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Arts Honours from Griffith University, a PhD in Theatre and Cultural Studies from Monash University, a Graduate Certificate in Arts and Entertainment Management from Deakin University, a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training from Holmesglen TAFE, a Certificate III in Live Production, Theatre & Events (Technical Operations) from Julius Media College, a Master of Arts in Writing & Literature from Deakin University, and a Master of Education in Higher Education from QUT (Queensland University of Technology).
