Junior Teo is the Co-founder and CTO at Change Foods and serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor in Microbial Biotechnology at QUT. With over 20 years of experience in microbial fermentation and biotechnology, Junior has a strong background in scaling up fermentation technologies and strain development, alongside significant academic roles, including a Vice Chancellor Innovation Fellowship at Macquarie University. Junior’s previous experience includes founding Applimex Systems Pty Ltd and conducting research on microbial systems across several industries. They earned a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from The University of Auckland.
