Kees Eijkel

Kees Eijkel is a seasoned professional in business development and commercialization, currently serving as the Director of Business Development at QuTech since November 2018. Prior experience includes over a decade at the University of Twente, where Kees Eijkel held positions as Director of Strategic Business Development and Managing Director of Technopolis Twente, focusing on strategic research relations and commercialization support. Additional leadership roles include Acting President of Kennispark, Board Member at Stichting Categoraal Gymnasium Enschede, and Treasurer for De Twentse Ambassade. Kees Eijkel has also served as Chairman of the TReNT Foundation and held multiple directorial positions related to nanotechnology and microengineering, showcasing a strong commitment to advancing technology and education in the region. Kees Eijkel holds a PhD in Technical Sciences from the University of Twente and an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Amsterdam.
