Ben Shapiro has over 21 years experience in software development and software management. He began his career at CUDP in the late 1990s as a software engineer. Over the next 8 years, his responsibilities increased as he took on more leadership roles in the software development department. In 2007, Weber State Credit Union (WSCU) recruited Ben and promoted him to Vice-President of Information Technologies. While at WSCU Ben successfully directed the conversion of their core software system and the upgrade of their IT infrastructure in order to support more robust and up-to-date security systems. In 2009, Ben left WSCU and returned to CUDP as Chief Operating Officer. His responsibilities included oversight of the software development and customer support teams for CUProdigy™, CUDP’s flagship software system. Ben was also heavily involved in the sales and marketing efforts of the CUProdigy software system. In 2013, Ben left CUDP to join Qvera.
