With a background in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University and further education in Finance and Business Administration, Burak A. also previously served as Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

QVIDTVM(pronounced quid tum, Latin for “what’s next”)was founded in 2019 by Burak Alici , and all the Principals previously worked together at Morgan Stanley , where Burak managed the MS Global Discovery Fund . Upon our founding in 2019, we were supported by a leading Univeristy Endowment and select Family Offices across the globe , who are still foundational investors , and work with clients who share our values of the belief in the power of compounding , business ownership(as opposed to stock speculation)and a long term outlook. We apply a unique and distinctive lens and approach to the market , which results in a portfolio that is both concentrated and differentiated, and has outperformed the market . We specialize in the under researched and undiscovered , and spend a great deal of time in the Founder and Family led space . We work closely with Founder and Family led businesses to provide opportunities for Growth and structural development, and engage all of our clients in a Think Tank like environment and partnership .
