Eric Lotfi has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and positions over the years. Eric currently serves as the VP of Software Engineering at Qwake Technologies since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Meta from 2020 to 2023, serving as the Lead Systems Architect for an augmented reality wearable device. At Fitbit, they held the position of Principal Systems Architect for a brief period in 2020. In 2019, they founded their own venture called Project: Productivity tech. Before that, Eric spent a significant portion of their career at Google, working as the Engineering Lead for Pixel Phones from 2014 to 2019 and as the Engineering Lead for the Pixel 2 from 2016 to 2017. Eric also served as a Lead Hardware Engineer at Amazon Lab126 in 2013 and as a Senior Principle Hardware Design Engineer at Formfactor from 2011 to 2013. Earlier in their career, Eric worked as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer/Architect at novero from 2009 to 2011 and as a Hardware Design Engineer at Nortel from 2000 to 2009. Eric began their career as a Software Design Engineer at Honeywell in 1999.
Eric Lotfi attended the University of Calgary from 1996 to 1999 where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
