Michael Timbs has worked in the software engineering and development industry since 2013. Michael began their career as the Founder & CTO of Betswaps, where they were responsible for building a complex sports betting and trading platform. In 2015, they moved on to become an Optimisation Engineer at HydroPlan, where they worked on efficient water management solutions. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Developer and Data Specialist at Uniti Wireless Limited, where they were responsible for software integrations and building internal tools. In 2019, they became a Team Lead/Senior Fullstack Developer at Fleet Space Technologies, where they designed highly scalable, asynchronous services. In 2020, they took on the role of Technical Lead at GorillaStack, a SaaS startup. Finally, in 2022 they joined Qwilr as a Staff Software Engineer and Paytron as a Senior Software Engineer.
Michael Timbs obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Adelaide between 2011 and 2014.
