Daniel Zagales

Daniel Zagales has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and analytics. Daniel is currently the Vice President of Data Engineering at 66degrees, where they lead the data engineering practice and is responsible for defining and executing strategies in data management and analytics. Daniel also provides support to key accounts and oversees the growth paths of associates. Prior to this role, Daniel was the Director of Data Services at Pandera Systems, which is now part of 66degrees. Daniel has also held roles as Director of Analytics, Technical Lead & Manager, and Senior BI Developer at Pandera Systems. Before joining the private sector, Daniel worked as a BI Technician at Florida State University, where they were responsible for converting reports and developing dashboards using Oracle Business Intelligence.

Daniel Zagales attended Florida State University from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Daniel also obtained several certifications from Google Cloud, including Professional Cloud Database Engineer in October 2022, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect in October 2019, and Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer in August 2019.
