Mathilde Borrot

Medical Imaging Engineer at Qynapse

Mathilde Borrot has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and medical imaging. Mathilde currently holds the position of Medical Imaging Engineer at Qynapse since 2022. Prior to this, Mathilde worked as an AI Research Engineer Intern for Human Computer Interaction (HCI) at Hoomano from February 2021 to August 2021. During this role, they developed a Deep Learning Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) and implemented a Convolutional Neural Network algorithm (CNN) for facial recognition of emotions.

Before joining Hoomano, Mathilde served as an Imaging Engineer Intern at Centre Ingénierie et Santé from June 2020 to August 2020. Mathilde'smain project involved developing a 3D co-registration algorithm for the processing of high-resolution CT scans to study the diagnosis of early rheumatoid arthritis. This project served as a starting point for a scientific publication.

In 2019, Mathilde gained practical experience at Arkema, where they had two roles. Firstly, they worked as an Assistance technique et managériale intern for two months. Then, they completed a stage opérateur as Opérateur au service Fabrication, supporting the production of solvents.

Overall, Mathilde's work experience spans various domains including medical imaging, artificial intelligence, and chemical manufacturing, showcasing their versatility and expertise in engineering.

Mathilde Borrot began their education at CPGE Joffre, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Sciences from 2015 to 2018. Mathilde then attended the Hanoi University of Science and Technology from 2019 to 2020, focusing on Biomedical/Medical Engineering. From 2018 to 2021, they pursued a degree in Civil Mines Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering at École des Mines de Saint-Étienne. Finally, in 2020-2021, they completed their Master's degree in Bioengineering in Neuroscience at ESPCI Paris - PSL.
