Chris Wright Miol

Chris Wright MIoL, FRSA has extensive experience in student support and mental wellbeing, currently serving as Head of Engagement Services at the University of South Wales since January 2010, with previous roles including USW Exchange Manager and Senior Disability & Wellbeing Coordinator. Responsible for managing teams of Disability Support Coordinators and Specialist Mental Health Mentors, Chris has developed and delivered training on disability and wellbeing topics and advised senior management on funding policy changes. As the Founder and Lead Training Consultant at The Wellbeing Guy, Chris specializes in suicide prevention training and offers one-on-one coaching focused on personal wellbeing. Additional experience includes work as a Mental Health Support Worker at the University of Wales, Newport, and as Community Education Coordinator for BulliesOut, contributing to critical initiatives in mental health and wellbeing. Chris holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education and Mental Health and a BA (Hons) in Business and Law from the University of South Wales and the University of Wales, respectively.
