John O'Brien

John O'Brien is the Founder and Managing Director of LCMB Building Performance Ltd, specializing in consultancy services that enhance the economic, efficient, and environmentally sustainable aspects of workplaces and buildings. With a strong commitment to improving building performance, John also serves as a Governor at Chipping Norton School, linking to the careers team, and holds Fellow positions with both the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (The RSA) and the Leeds Sustainability Institute, focusing on sustainable development. Previously, John chaired the Asset Management and FM task group for Constructing Excellence and served as Operations Director at Laing O'Rourke. John has co-founded Inviron Ltd and held roles in business development and service management with various companies. Educational credentials include an MBA with Distinction from Oxford Brookes University and engineering degrees from Technological University Dublin and Trinity College, along with a diploma in marketing from the Institute of Marketing.
