Rob Gilbert

Rob Gilbert is an experienced professional currently serving as the Interim Associate Director of Estates and Head of Capital Development at the University of Wolverhampton since September 2023. As a Fellow of the RSA, Rob has a strong background in business advisory, development consulting, and estate management, with a focus on sustainability and project management. Previous roles include Managing Director at EPL Midlands Ltd, where significant turnover growth was achieved, and Project Director at Poyner Gilbert Properties, overseeing multi-million-pound sustainable commercial real estate projects. Rob also operated Gilberts, a successful restaurant and bar, and possesses advanced degrees including an MBA in Global Business and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Derby, alongside qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Building and the Chartered Management Institute.
