André Niemeyer

Partner at R-Zero

André Niemeyer has a wealth of experience in the marketing and technology industries. In 2007, they were a Research Fellow at the Qualcomm Institute - UCSD Division of Calit2, and a Research Fellow at the UCSD McNair Program. In 2005, they were an Editor for Intuitions, UCSD Undergraduate Philosophy Journal. In 2008, they began their PhD studies at the University of Southern California. In 2010, they were a Founding Partner of Supconnect.com, and in 2013 they were the Founding President of the Stand Up Paddle Industry Association. In 2020, they were the Managing Partner of Lumenlabs, and in 2021 they became a Partner at R-Zero and an Executive Board Member of Rusty Surfboards. André also served as a Founding Partner of i9media from 2007.

André Niemeyer has a diverse educational background. In 2004, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from UC San Diego. André then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Philosophy from the University of Southern California, which they are still pursuing. In 2019, they also began an Executive Program in Strategy and Innovation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, they obtained a Digital Marketing Analytics certification from the MIT Sloan School of Management in August 2019.
