Ben Ness

Ben Ness began their professional career in 1982 as Vice President & CFO of the Consumer Banking Division at Crocker National Bank. In 1987, they moved to Citi as a Vice President. From 1994 to 1999, they were SVP of Strategic Planning & Consumer Credit at Ann Taylor, where they led the development and execution of a long-term strategic plan and identified an opportunity to expand a new store concept. In 1999, they became Senior Vice President of the Financial Services Division at Priceline.com, leading the development of a new online financial services division to offer direct-to-consumer products. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as a Principal at New Method Ventures, a consulting firm focusing on business strategy, go-to-market planning, and product management. During this time they also served as Interim CEO for a $25M online hotel reservation company. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as General Manager at Floors Etc./N. Ginsburg & Sons, Inc., where they grew sales by 41% and profits by 66%. In 2011, they became CEO and President at Encore Capital USA, LLC, where they had full P&L responsibility for a factoring start-up for private investors targeting professional service organizations. Finally, from 2012 to present, they have been Senior Vice President of Solution Implementation at R4 Technologies.

Ben Ness attended Baruch College from 1976 to 1978, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing & Finance.
