Troy Mitchell

Troy Mitchell has worked in the technology industry since 2000. Troy began their career at Marriott International, where they held various roles including IT Director for Loyalty and Marketing, Director of Partnerships, Information Resources Director, and Information Resources Manager. During this time, they led partnerships to support Marriott Rewards Earn and Redemption capabilities, as well as major projects for Marriott.com, including Hotel Websites and Globalization. In 2021, they joined r4 Technologies as a Sr. Agile Project Manager and Scrum Master, performing roles on Artificial Intelligence projects for international commercial clients and the US Defense industry.

Troy Mitchell has an extensive education history. Troy obtained their BBA in Management from James Madison University from 1981 to 1986. From 1991 to 1996, they earned their BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In 1999, they obtained their MS in Project Management - Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, which they completed in 2002. In 2012, they completed an Executive Certificate in Negotiations from the University of Notre Dame, which they completed in 2013. In 2020, they obtained their Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance, and in 2021 they obtained their AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
