Martijn Bink is a seasoned professional in archaeology and project management, currently serving as a Senior Projectmanager at RAAP since October 2023. Prior to this role, Martijn Bink was the Head of the Southern Netherlands department at VUhbs from October 2011 to September 2023, overseeing archaeological operations in the region. Experience also includes serving as a curator at Oudheidkundig Museum Sint-Michielsgestel, where museum collections stemmed from excavations in the Roman vicus of Halder from 2009 to October 2018. Martijn Bink's career began at BAAC bv as a Senior Archaeologist, engaging in numerous excavations across the Southern Netherlands and elsewhere from October 2003 to October 2011, and earlier as a Veldarcheoloog at ACVU-HBS from October 1999 to October 2003, participating in several excavations in the Southern Netherlands. Educational qualifications include a drs. in Archeologie from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and study in Scheikundige technologie at Delft University of Technology.
