Charin Patel

Charin Patel has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. They are currently working as a Senior Research Engineer at RAAPID.AI since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Engineer at the same company from April 2022 to March 2023, and as an Associate Research Engineer from January 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining RAAPID.AI, Charin Patel was a Software Developer Intern at FINTECH GLOBAL CENTER from January 2020 to May 2020. During this internship, they developed an algorithm for trading based on historical and real-time data, focusing on analyzing time intervals and frequencies for trade orders.

They also gained experience as a Research Trainee at Space Applications Centre, ISRO from May 2019 to April 2020. In this role, Charin worked on implementing an active-passive SAR-based algorithm for high-resolution soil moisture mapping over India, merging Sentinel-1 C-band radar data with SMAP L-band radiometer measurements.

Additionally, Charin Patel served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology. They supported various courses, including Operating Systems, by conducting lab sessions on topics such as Linux and virtualization, system calls, and shell scripting. They were involved in this role from July 2018 to December 2019, with brief intervals in between.

In 2018, they enrolled at the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology and obtained a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Information and Communication Technology with a specialization in Machine Learning in 2020.

Prior to their master's degree, from 2014 to 2018, Charin attended LDRP Institute of Technology & Research, Gujarat Technological University, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering.

Before their bachelor's degree, they completed their high school education at Divan-Ballubhai School between 2012 and 2014.

In 2011 and 2012, they attended J.L. High School and completed the S.S.C. program.

Additionally, Charin Patel has obtained several certifications. Some of the certifications include "Machine Learning in Python," "Mathematics," "Probability," "Statistics," "Web Scraping and API Fundamentals in Python," and "Introduction to Data and Data Science," all achieved in November 2021, from 365 Data Science. Charin also completed certifications such as "Learning Python" from LinkedIn in August 2020 and various certifications from IBM and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2020, including "Applied Data Science with Python - Level 2," "Big Data Technology Fundamentals," "Data Analysis with Python," "Data Science Capstone: Real World ML Decisions," "Data Science Foundations - Level 2 (V2)," "Data Science Hands-On with Open Source Tools," "Data Science Methodology," "Data Visualization with Python," "Deep Learning Fundamentals," "Introduction to Data Science," "Machine Learning Terminology and Process," and "Python for Data Science." Charin also obtained the "RHEL 8 / CentOS 8 Linux Administration - RHCSA 8 - Level I" certification from Udemy in July 2020.
