Dan Pucci

Dan Pucci has over 25 years of experience in healthcare technology and has held various roles throughout their career.

Dan is currently the President at Sun Gate Strategies, where they help healthcare technology organizations close business and build sales teams. Dan specializes in life sciences, pharmacy, health plans, and pharmacy sales, providing contract sales, business development, sales strategy, and sales training.

Previously, Dan has served as the Vice President of Sales at raapid.ai, where they contributed to reimagining value-based care and risk adjustment in healthcare, insurance, and technology organizations. Dan played a key role in the development and implementation of their AI technology platform for disease understanding and extraction.

Dan has also worked as a Business Advisor for AllClear ID and Veradigm, offering their expertise and guidance in their respective business ventures.

Before that, they served as the National Managing Director, Health Plans at Innovaccer, where they provided strategic leadership and direction for health plans.

At Change Healthcare, they held the position of National Vice President, Sales, Clinical Networks, overseeing the growth strategy and direction for the provider, laboratory, and payer markets. Dan played a pivotal role in expanding payer product offerings and revenue opportunities for the Clinical Networks business unit.

Prior to that, Dan worked as the Vice President, Provider Engagement at Elligo Health Research, where they provided clinical research services to community physicians and developed a sales methodology to penetrate these communities.

During their time at Allscripts, Dan was instrumental in developing the life sciences market for the company. Dan led the research business solutions of Practice Fusion and Allscripts, managing three Area Vice Presidents and their sales teams.

In their early career, Dan was hired by Quintiles to establish Verispan, a joint venture with McKesson. Dan played a crucial role in developing the joint venture partnership and creating the largest anonymized patient-level database in the United States for innovative healthcare analytics.

Dan Pucci holds a BS degree in Management and Marketing from Michigan State University. Additionally, they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing, from the DePaul Driehaus College of Business.
