Dan Wang-Munson

Dan Wang-Munson has over 15 years of experience in optical and lighting engineering, currently serving as an Optical Engineer and Lab Manager at Rab Lighting since October 2009, where responsibilities include designing optical systems with LEDs, optimizing fixture design, and testing LED performance. Previously, Dan worked as a Research Assistant at the Lighting Research Center from August 2007 to June 2010, focusing on lighting design and conducting experiments to enhance human alertness and circadian rhythm. Dan's early career included a position as a Mechanical and Optical Engineer at SVA Optronics, where innovative designs for LCD backlights were developed. Dan obtained education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2007 to 2009.
