Lawrence Ding is a seasoned embedded software engineer and system architect with extensive experience in the development and design of smart lighting solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer and System Architect at RAB Lighting since June 2018, Lawrence has successfully integrated Bluetooth mesh technology into smart lamp products, overseeing the design of multiple catalogs and guiding products from manufacturing to market. Prior to this, as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Philips Lighting, significant contributions were made to the Interact IoT Platform and the research and prototyping of smart lights. Earlier roles included Senior Firmware Engineer and Firmware Engineer at Honeywell Security and Fire, where Lawrence independently developed critical system components for the "Eagle" project and designed security communication protocols for intelligent home systems. Lawrence holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from East China University of Science and Technology.
