Robert Barbera

Robert Barbera is an experienced software systems engineer currently employed at Sandia National Laboratories since September 2019 and previously held multiple roles at the same organization, including senior software engineer and software engineer/system administrator. As Chief Executive Officer at Rabbit IT Solutions, LLC since November 2012, Robert has focused on application development for desktop, mobile, and web platforms using C# and T-SQL. Robert also serves as an instructor for the NM EDGE Program at NM State University, teaching courses on customer service and utilizing the web. Previous experience includes working as a principal software engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation and as a system integration/test engineer at Lockheed Martin. Robert obtained a Master's Degree in High Performance Computing with a specialization in Computer Architecture Design and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from The University of New Mexico. Additionally, Robert held a research assistant position at the University of New Mexico and directed the Corporate Ski Cup event to support the UNM Lobo ski team.
