Bert Verkerk

Bert Verkerk has extensive experience in trade finance and risk distribution, currently serving as the head of trade finance corporate sales at Rabobank since February 2015. In addition to this role, Bert has been a senior manager in trade and commodity financial institutions risk distribution at Rabo International since October 2007. Previous positions include head of global origination and distribution at Garantibank International, and various roles at Garantibank Int'l N.V., focusing on trade finance global origination and distribution. Bert's career began with roles at Amsterdam, Banespa's Amsterdam branch, American Express Bank Ltd., and Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, primarily in trade finance operations. Education was completed at HEAO from 1983 to 1986.
