John Maes

John Maes has extensive experience in leadership and operations management, currently serving as Hoofd Bijzonder beheer at Rabobank since August 2013, overseeing a team of 400+ FTEs. Previous roles at Rabobank include Manager Operations en Keten support, where John was responsible for transitioning the organization to an efficient structure with process improvements. Additionally, John led the Lean Center of Excellence, authored "Succesvol LEAN," and founded Always Better Consultancy BV. Before Rabobank, John held the position of Senior Vice President at Obvion, managing over 250 staff and achieving significant financial success, while also earning multiple performance awards. Early career experience includes a Senior Manager role in International Supply Chain at Douwe Egberts. John Maes holds a degree in Information Technology from HTS-Heerlen.
