Nashab Parvez serves as a Global Sanctions Advisor for Rabobank since June 2022, focusing on enhancing financial and economic crime screening capabilities through the establishment of an internal research program and the development of global standards for transaction filtering and name screening. Prior to this role, Nashab worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Amsterdam from October 2020 to June 2022, collaborating with Dr. Sergey Vasiliev on governance of international courts and tribunals. Additional experience includes a legal internship at T.M.C. Asser Instituut and participation in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where in-depth research and oral pleadings were conducted. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Public International Law from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Maastricht University, complemented by an exchange program in International Relations and Criminology at The Australian National University.
