Niels Olieman

Niels Olieman possesses extensive experience in risk management and model governance across multiple organizations. At Rabobank, Niels served as Risk Model Validator and later as Manager Model Governance, establishing a bank-wide Model Risk Management policy framework. Prior to Rabobank, Niels worked at Achmea as Project Manager in ICT and as Senior Financial Risk Manager, focusing on counterparty risk management and authoring critical policies. Additionally, Niels has a background in software engineering from IMN and has completed a PhD at Wageningen University on Robustness Programming, complementing a Master's degree in Agro Systems Engineering from the same institution.
