Simone van Gendt is an accomplished finance professional with over 25 years of experience in Renewable Energy, Energy Transition, Project Finance, M&A, Infrastructure, Advisory, Restructurings, and Capital Markets. Currently, they serve as the Executive Director at Rabobank, overseeing structured private debt activities and leading energy transition efforts within Financial Advisory & Solutions. Their extensive background includes roles as Senior Vice President in Export & Project Finance at Rabobank and Vice President of Credit Risk Management at NIBC Bank. Simone holds a Master's degree in Economics with a specialization in International Finance from Maastricht University and has received a propaedeutic diploma in Harp from the Royal Conservatory The Hague. Since 2023, they have also been a member of the Advisory Committee at Energiefonds Overijssel.
