Simon Thomason

Simon Thomason is currently the Governance and Assurance Manager at RAC WA, where they lead the Governance and Assurance function to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as to manage information security risks. With extensive experience in both the government and private sectors, Simon has held various roles, including IT Security Architect at Public Transport Authority and IT Consultant at Telstra. Simon began their career in IT as a Technician at National Australia Bank and has developed strong skills in Cyber and Information Security, IT Risk Management, and Project Management. Simon is also pursuing a Bachelor of Business in Information Systems at Edith Cowan University.
