David Naylor has a long and varied career in law. David began their career as a Solicitor at Ashurst in 1995, before taking a secondment as a Competition Policy Adviser at OFTEL in 1996. In 1998, they moved to Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP as a Senior Associate, before joining Morrison & Foerster as a Partner in 2000. In 2006, they joined Fieldfisher as a Partner, Head of Advanced Media & Technology Practice, and Co-Head of Growth Company Practice. In 2007, they took a secondment as General Counsel at Project Kangaroo. In 2016, they moved to Wiggin as Head of Data Protection, Information Law and Cybersecurity Practice, Partner, and Co Head of Technology Practice. In 2014, they co-founded Racefully, and in 2022 they will become Co-Head of Data Privacy, Cybersecurity and Digital Assets Practice, EMEA, and Head of UK Data Privacy, Cybersecurity & Digital Assets Practice at Squire Patton Boggs.
David Naylor completed an MBA in Management of New Ventures from Imperial College London in 1993. Prior to that, they obtained a Law degree from Durham University between 1988 and 1991.
