Daniel Barclay

Daniel Barclay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in infrastructure engineering and project management. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Rackspace Technology since October 2010, Daniel has played a pivotal role in architecting highly available designs and enhancing performance for strategic customers. Previous positions at Rackspace include Senior Windows Engineer and Lead Infrastructure Engineer, where responsibilities included disaster recovery planning and customer integration. Prior to Rackspace, experience includes serving as Technical Manager at IT-Serve.com, overseeing a Managed Services team and technical infrastructure designs. Daniel's earlier roles include Assistant Building Surveyor at WELLING BPS, IT Consultant at BARCLAY IT CONSULTANTS, and IT and Property Manager at OPEN CAPITAL PLC. Daniel holds an Honors degree in Building Surveying and the Environment from the University of Plymouth.
