Liz Young

Liz Young is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the International Tax Director at Rackspace Technology since January 2015, where Liz leads a global tax team based in the U.S. Prior roles include Senior Manager, Tax Manager, and Tax Supervisor at the same company, alongside early positions at Valero Energy Corporation, ORIX USA Corporation, and Deloitte, where Liz specialized in partnership tax. Additionally, Liz is a Board Member of the Carlos Alvarez College of Business, Department of Accounting Advisory Board at The University of Texas at San Antonio, contributing to aligning academic offerings with industry needs. Liz earned a Master of Professional Accounting in Accounting from Texas McCombs School of Business and The University of Texas at Austin, completing the program in 2008.
