Shawn Bliesner

Shawn Bliesner is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in cloud computing and architecture. Currently serving as Practice Manager at Rackspace since May 2016, Shawn specializes in managing cutting-edge cloud solutions across major platforms. Prior to this role, Shawn worked as a Cloud Architect at 2nd Watch from February 2012 to May 2016, where responsibilities included architecting and optimizing AWS cloud services related to big data, web services, and security. Shawn's earlier career includes roles as Help Desk Coordinator at INHS and Production Supervisor at VPI Quality Windows. Shawn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Devry University, completed in 2006. Programming skills include Powershell, C#, VB, HTML, and PHP.
