Theo Mefford

Theo Mefford is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science, artificial intelligence, and engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Artificial Intelligence at Rackspace Technology, leading a team focused on generative AI solutions, Theo also contributes as an AI/ML Engineer at Pacific Learning Alliance, where fullstack AI/ML applications are developed. Previous roles include Data Scientist at Agmonitor Inc., where crop stress detection software was created, and Software Engineer at USF-vRad, involved in optimizing teleradiology networks. Holds a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of San Francisco and a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Maryland, along with ongoing studies toward an MBA at the University of San Francisco. Theo's early career involved research roles in quantum optics and material science, as well as a teaching position at Piedmont High School.
