Albert Lee

Albert Lee has over 10 years of experience working in software engineering and development. Albert began their career in 2006 as a Contributor to the OpenSolaris Community. In 2008, they joined Matson Systems as an Application Engineer, where they helped design and implement a scalable BitTorrent-based backend. In 2010, they joined Nexenta Systems, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the operating system at the core of the NexentaStor storage appliance. Albert then joined illumos as a Developer Advocate in the same year. In 2014, they joined OmniTI as a Kernel Engineer, where they developed a platform for deploying containers and virtual networks on a datacenter scale. In 2017, they joined SoftNAS as a Storage Architect, where they helped build the top network storage appliance in the cloud. Albert is currently a Senior Software Engineer at RackTop Systems.

Albert Lee attended The Johns Hopkins University, where they studied Biology.
