Bart Smeets

Bart Smeets is an accomplished academic in the field of glomerular disease, currently serving as an Associate Professor and Principal Investigator at Radboudumc since January 2019. In addition, Bart Smeets has been a Scientific Researcher and Lecturer at HAN University of Applied Sciences since March 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Scientific Researcher at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen from March 2008 to December 2014, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Radboudumc from 2006 to 2008. Bart Smeets holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from Radboud University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry Biotechnology from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
