Cris Lanting is a skilled medical physicist and audiologist with extensive experience in the field of auditory health and rehabilitation. Currently affiliated with Radboudumc since June 2017, Cris specializes in hereditary hearing loss, cochlear implants in children, and tinnitus, while conducting research on genetic mutations and their perceptual consequences, as well as evaluating new middle ear implants. Previous roles include various positions at University Medical Center Groningen, where Cris focused on hearing and balance disorders, and a postdoctoral research project on neural plasticity in the auditory cortex. Cris also contributed to the NVKF as a board member for the KLIFOP committee and has a solid academic foundation, holding a PhD in Medical Sciences and a Master’s degree in Applied Physics from the University of Groningen.
