Ester Coolen

Ester Coolen is a General Pediatrician with extensive experience at Amalia Children's Hospital, RadboudUMC since October 2014. In addition to clinical practice, Ester serves as the Deputy Director of the Pediatric Residency Program, an Associate Principal Lecturer, and an Expert Docent for the Simulatie Team Training at Radboud University Medical Centre Nijmegen. With a background in simulation training, Ester has been instrumental in developing high-fidelity simulation programs for medical professionals. Ester's previous roles include Pediatric Resident positions and Project Manager at IQ Healthcare focusing on safety and quality in medical education. Ester holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Radboud University, specializing in acute pediatric care using simulation technology, and has completed medical training at UMC St Radboud and Maastricht University, graduating with honors.
